Comprehensive assessments

Detect Disease

1x per year

Coronary Calcium Scan

This assessment leverages a high-resolution, low-radiation CT scan offering a precise image of arterial plaque measurement. Output is a score on a scale of 0 – 400+. 0 indicates no calcium present.  400+ indicates significant risk for a blockage.

Carotid Ultrasound

Uses sound waves to assess blood flow and arterial health. The reflection of those soundwaves forms an image and allows our technicians to see if there are any blockages or narrowing of your arteries that will affect blood flow.

Quantify Future Risk

2x per year

Lipid & Biomarkers

Check cholesterol and inflammation levels, key indicators of heart disease risk. Our focus is on newer biomarkers that are more predictive of cardiovascular disease risk include Apolipoprotein B (ApoB), Lipoprotein (a), and  LDL/HDL particle size.

Genetic + Epigenetic

Analyze your DNA for specific gene variants associated with inherited heart conditions and by examining epigenetic modifications, which can indicate environmental factors that might contribute to cardiovascular disease development.

Our Mission

Inviga Health was founded with a single goal, to help you understand what is going on with your heart before symptoms appear.

70% of people who have a heart attack are considered low risk by our current healthcare system.  For most of them, their first warning sign of cardiovascular disease is a heart attack of which 50% of them will not survive.

Every year over 800K people in the United States suffer a heart attack, the vast majority of which are preventable.

We founded Inviga Health to make it possible to quantify your risk for a heart attack decades before an event  and to track your ability to prevent cardiovascular disease.

Each member of the Inviga team has been impacted by cardiovascular disease. We’ve been frustrated and angry that a preventable disease takes so many lives and negatively impacts so many others.  Join us in the fight to prevent heart attacks.

Find answers to common questions.

Is this covered by insurance?

Inviga is 100% insurance-free. No deductibles. No co-pays. We are committed to transparent prices and you knowing exactly what you pay for. Inviga does not accept insurance, however it is FSA/HSA eligible. Inviga provides you with an itemized receipt for submitting to an FSA/HSA plan.

Inviga is in beta. What does that mean?

Beta means that Inviga is not yet fully developed and there will be rapid changes with occasional bugs. Patience is required.

After the first round of lab tests are complete, beta members will receive a first-of-its-kind health dashboard. Dashboard features include charting lab test results over time (past results will be automatically loaded) and an organized composite of all recommendations and doctor reviews into a single view.

What tests are included?

Inviga currently leverages four tests to determine your risk for cardiovascular disease.  Two of the tests are primarily focused on detecting the presence of disease, while the other two are focused on identifying future risk for disease. Click Here (have this go to What’s Included page) to learn more about each test.

Where is Inviga available?

Inviga is only available in the continental US today. To see our list of locations, please click HERE (link to map).

Are these tests the same as used by a heart specialist?

Yes. Inviga includes gold-standard tests trusted by cardiology specialists. Often these tests are not available to most people, making them very difficult and expensive to access.

Do I need a prescription to get tested?

No, you don’t have to worry about that.

What does Inviga offer that I can’t get from my Dr?

Inviga provides seamless access to (4) key assessments of cardiovascular disease risk. Inviga also tracks your results over time and brings you actionable insights from the world’s top cardiologists based on your specific results.

How do I schedule my test?

It’s easy. After signing up for Inviga Health, you will receive an email and text message to schedule a convenient time and location for your visit.

Where do I go to get tested?

Inviga is currently operating in (8) cities with plans to expand into 7 more by the end of 2026. You can see the list HERE (link to map). Each assessment location is centrally located and convenient to most people.

What is the testing experience like?

Once you arrive at one of our testing locations, you will be greeted by an Inviga concierge who will answer any questions you have and help you prepare for the assessments.  You will need to change into a hospital gown in a private changing room in order to make testing as efficient as possible.

How long does the test take?

An average visit takes 30 minutes.

How often do I get tested?

The Inviga Health membership includes two different sets of assessments.  At the first visit you will establish a baseline by taking all four assessments (Coronary Calcium Scan, Ultrasound, Lipid, Epigenetic).  6 months later you will repeat the lipid and epigenetic testing in order to gauge progress.

Can Inviga diagnose me?

No, Inviga does not diagnose at this time. Although the lab tests included with your membership are the same as those trusted by the broader medical community, and a clinician is reviewing your lab test results, diagnoses are not yet available through Inviga

How long does it take to get results?

After your visit, it takes 1 week to compile all of the results. Once all results are ready, a clinician will review them comprehensively, and you can expect their notes to be delivered in another week.

How will the results be delivered to me?

All lab test results are delivered to your Inviga Dashboard, available on your computer or smartphone.

Can I share the results with my Doctor?

Yes. You can download a results PDF to share with a doctor. You will see this when you login after your test results have arrived.

What if one of my results is an emergency?

A healthcare provider will call you immediately if there is a critical result.
